Laura Lopez Giese joins Boston College tennis
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's tennis announced today the Eagles' incoming class of 2022.

Laura Lopez Giese is the sole athlete to sign her National Letter of Intent and will make her way to BC next season.

"This is very exciting news for Boston College Tennis," said head coach Nigel Bentley. "Laura is terrific! She shares our team goals to work hard, play together, be smart and have fun. Laura is not only a super tennis player but she also excels in the classroom. She's a great fit for our team and school. We are thrilled!"

Laura Lopez Giese | Barcelona, Spain
Lopez Giese won the Catalonian championships in both the U13 and U14 divisions … won two Nike Junior Tours and the Master of this circuit in Ibiza … she has won five ITF junior doubles titles and is a three-time ITF junior doubles finalist … was runner up in singles for ITF junior G4 … competed for the U14 National Team, and qualified for the U14's World Team Championships … in 2015, was ranked #1 in Spain in her age range … is currently nationally ranked at #44.
