Eagles Tie for First Place
EVENT: Northeast Fencing Conference

RESULTSÂ

Men's fencing started off the season with a 5-0 record at the Northeast Fencing Conference's meet #1, defeating UNH, UMass, Brown, BU and Sacred Heart. Cam Mayer and Justin Herman each went 13-2 in foil, while Connor Rounds posted a 13-2 record in sabre.  Ari Lichy in foil and Ben Slavin in sabre were each 12-3 and Mateo Rueda lead the epee squad with a 9-3 record.

The women's team finished the day 6-1, posting wins over UNH, Wellesley, UMass, Brown, Smith and BU while dropping a close match against Sacred Heart.  Laura Donovan led the team with a 17-2 record in sabre, while Kayla Moy was 16-3 in foil and Jamie Bang was 16-5 in epee.
