ACC Announces Kickoff Times for Oct. 21

12:30 p.m. kickoff in Charlottesville for BC-Virginia

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced game times and networks for the football games on October 21. Boston College will travel to Virginia for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff in Charlottesville.

ACC regional sports networks across the conference's footprint will broadcast the game. Detailed local affiliates covering the game will be announced at a later date, but NESN will carry the game in the Boston television market.

BC is a perfect 5-0 all-time against Virginia as the two teams meet for the first time since 2010. In ACC play, the Eagles are 3-0 against the Cavaliers, including a 14-10 victory at Virginia the last time the teams met in Charlottesville in 2009.

In the two most recent games in series play, BC has won both games by four points (17-13 in 2010; 14-10 in 2009).

BC (2-4, 0-3 ACC) return to action Saturday, Oct. 14 at Louisville. Kickoff is set for 12:20 p.m. on ACC Network (myTV38 in Boston) and the BC IMG Sports Network (850 WEEI AM).
