The Game
- Boston College (8-10, 1-4) will host #6/9 Notre Dame on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Conte Forum.
- The Eagles are coming off a tough road loss at Virginia, 62-55, on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Mariella Fasoula led BC with 20 points and 11 rebounds, her third double-double of the season.
- Notre Dame arrives at The Heights after a 71-69 loss at Tennessee on Monday night. It was the third loss of the season for the Irish (4-1 ACC). Notre Dame was outscored in the fourth quarter, 19-7 as Tennessee erased a 15-point deficit for the win.
- Sophomore Arike Ogunbowale leads the Irish on offense (15.1 ppg.), while junior center Brianna Turner is averaging 14 points and 7.2 rebounds.

BC vs. Notre Dame
- This is the 24th meeting between BC and Notre Dame.
- The Irish lead the overall series, 18-5. Boston College is 4-7 at home against Notre Dame. The Irish are 11-0 on their home court.
- The Eagles last defeated Notre Dame on March 19, 2006 during the NCAA Tournament. The win snapped a five game losing streak to the Irish. It was the first round of the tournament and BC defeated Ohio State in the second round before losing to Utah in the regional semifinal game.
- The two teams did not play from 2008 until 2013. Notre Dame and BC have played twice during the regular season every year since 2014.
- Boston College has lost the last eight meetings to Notre Dame.
- The last time BC defeated Notre Dame at Conte Forum was on Jan. 29, 2003 (76-43).

- Rookie point guard Taylor Ortlepp played a career-high 29 minutes at Syracuse. She averaged 25.5 minutes and nine points over the last two games.
- Second year center Mariella Fasoula averaged 21 points and nine rebounds in the two ACC games last week. She shot 66 percent from the floor.
