Eagles in the NFL: Week Three Recap

Matt Ryan – QB Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan led the Falcons to another win in week three, recording 240 passing yards and two red-zone touchdown passes in the second quarter to win, 45-32, over New Orleans. Ryan also rushed five times for 23 yards, and completed 20-of-30 passing attempts. The Falcons look to continue their two-game win streak as they host the Carolina Panthers in week four.
Luke Kuechly – LB Carolina Panthers
Kuechly posted 13 tackles, including nine solo, in the Panthers' week three loss to the Vikings. Kuechly led the defense this week, seeing action in all 54 defensive snaps and four special teams snaps. The Panthers travel to the Georgia dome next week as they face the Atlanta Falcons.
Will Blackmon – CB Washington Redskins
In week three, Blackmon recorded two tackles, including one solo tackle, and forced a fumble against the Giants in the 29-27 win. Blackmon participated in 44 defensive plays and 14 special teams appearances for the Redskins.
Kasim Edebali – LB New Orleans Saints
Edebali played in 16 defensive plays and 18 special teams plays for the Saints in their 32-45 loss to the Falcons. Edebali recorded one tackle in the game.
Kevin Pierre-Louis – LB Seattle Seahawks
Pierre-Louis participated in 21 special teams plays and recorded one tackle in the Seahawks' 37-18 win over the 49ers.
Josh Keyes – LB Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Keyes lined up 22 times for special teams in week three and recorded two tackles in the Buccaneers' loss to the Rams.
Gosder Cherilus – OT Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cherilus lined up four times on special teams and eight times for the offensive line in week three against the Rams.
Anthony Castonzo – OT Indianapolis Colts
Castonzo started at left tackle for the Colts in their 26-22 win against San Diego. Castonzo saw the field in 71 offensive plays.
Mark Herzlich – LB New York Giants
Herzlich played in all 33 special teams plays for the Giants in their loss to the Redskins in week three.
John Wetzel – OT Arizona Cardinals
Wetzel participated in three special teams plays in the Cardinals' week three loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Justin Simmons – FS Denver Broncos
Did not play in week three due to a wrist injury.
