The Boston College Eagles hope to get back in the win column this week as ACC foe Pittsburgh comes to town on Thursday for a 7 p.m. match. Admission to the game is free.

The Eagles suffered its first loss of the 2016 campaign in a 3-2 loss at No. 9 Duke. BC is now 8-1-1 and 0-1-0 in the ACC. Pittsburgh is now 1-7-1 and 0-1-0 in the ACC. The Panthers lost to Louisville in their last tilt.

- Forward McKenzie Meehan needs just one point to become the programs all-time leader in points scored. She currently has 54 goals, 8 assists for 116 points. She also has the record for most game-winning goals with 18.
- Senior Hayley Dowd is creeping up the all-time list as well. The Eagles forward from Peabody, Mass. has notched has 37 career goals, 11 career assists for 85 points. She is now seventh on the all-time list for points and tied in third with Morgan Page in goals.
- In the 2016 season freshman Jenna Bike and graduate McKenzie Meehan have earned Eagles of the Week honors.
- The Eagles have seven players that have played and started every game. Two rookies have started every game – Jenna Bike and Samantha Hiatt while sophomore Gaby Carreiro is a 10 game starter. Juniors Allyson Swaby, Madison Kenny and Lauren Berman have also started all 10 games. Regular starters Jade Ruiters and Kayla Jennings, both rookies, have started and played in nine games.
- Since Coach Alison Foley's arrival in 1997, the BC women's soccer program is 13-5-2 in season openers. The team has also won the last five season openers, including this year's 2-1 win over Providence.
