HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
The Eagles jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and kept on cruising to a 12-3 lead that forced a Knights timeout. Another BC run to extend their lead to 17-5 forced another FDU timeout. BC never relinquished their lead and won the set handily, 25-12.
Set 2
There was little separation between the two teams at the beginning of the set, but BC went on a 7-0 run to take an 11-3 lead. Another 9-3 run for the Eagles forced a Knights timeout at 21-9. The Maroon and Gold cruised again, taking the set 25-13.
Set 3
Similar to the previous set, both teams were neck and neck at the start until the Eagles pulled ahead to lead 12-8, forcing an FDU timeout. The Eagles continued their run to 8-1 to take a 16-8 lead. BC never looked back and closed out the set 25-17 for a sweep of the Knights.
