Fan Day Set for August 19

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Join the Eagles as they get prepped for the 2016 season when the Boston College football team hosts its annual Fan Day on Friday, Aug. 19 at Alumni Stadium.

The free event will start at 6 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. The football team will join fans out on the field to sign autographs. The official 2016 team posters, schedule cards and magnets will be available to all fans attending.

Young fans will have the opportunity to test themselves with football combine drills, just like the Eagles run daily, and inflatables and other games will be set up for kids.

Families can show their BC spirit at stations set up for face painting and glitter tattoos, and then stop by the photo station for a free take-home photo.

Prizes will be given away and raffled off throughout the night. Free beverages, ice cream and popcorn will be available. BC Merchandise will be available for purchase.

Fans still looking to pick up season tickets can check out available seats in person, find their favorites and make their purchase on the spot.

Season ticket holders will also get to experience a "Chalk Talk" with some of the BC coaching staff and get an inside look at BC Football with tours of the Yawkey Athletics Center. For more information about season tickets, visit the BC ticket website or call 617-552-GoBC.
