Media sits down with players and coaches to discuss upcoming season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - On a hot Thursday, the Boston College football team once again participated in their yearly media day. Following a disappointing 2015 due to an injury plagued depth chart, the media swarmed players and coaches with questions about improvements for the upcoming season.Â
The first question on everyone's mind was the obvious; graduate transfer Patrick Towles or sophomore redshirt Darius Wade?
While that question remains uncertain, both quarterbacks have their eyes set on the starting position and the competition between the two is only helping them develop and become more prepared for the first game. However, regardless if he is the starter or not, Patrick Towles believes that the Eagle offense is ready to make a big push in contributing to the success of the team this season. Along with the quarterback situation, the Eagles will also be looking at the returning players as well as the new faces to help fill the lineup, including the potential of sophomore Tommy Sweeney as a big offensive target this year.
With injuries healed and camp starting strong, one thing every media member could agree on was that the future of the program is one that is bright and something fans should be looking forward to.
