
Demon Deacons Take 6-1 Win on Sunday Night

DEDHAM, Mass. – The 19th-ranked Wake Forest women's tennis team earned a 6-1 win over No. 55 Boston College on Sunday night at the Dedham Health & Fitness Center.
The Demon Deacons started the night out with the doubles point, claiming wins on the Nos. 1 and 3 courts over the tandems of Lexi Borr and Jackie Urbinati and then Asiya Dair and Heini Salonen, respectively.
In singles competition, Dair earned the Eagles' lone victory at the No. 2 spot, defeating No. 112 Emma Davis in three sets: 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. Jennifer Ren also pushed her match to three sets on the No. 5 court, but fell in the decisive set, 6-3.
Boston College (8-10, 3-8 ACC) return to the courts on Friday, April 8, when they travel to No. 8 Duke before taking on No. 3 North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 9.
