Workman Wins Twice as Eagles Fall to No. 31 Yellow Jackets

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Boston College men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 road decision at No. 31 Georgia Tech on Sunday. Hank Workman was part of both of the Eagles' wins on the day, claiming a 7-6, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles over Daniel Yun, after helping to take down a nationally ranked doubles opponent to open the match.
The Yellow Jackets (14-5, 7-2 ACC) won the doubles point after taking wins on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts. The Eagles won the No. 1 court as Kyle Childree and Workman teamed for a 7-6 win over the No. 54-ranked duo of Michael and Casey Kay.
In singles, Georgia Tech won at No. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 courts with Workman winning on Court 3.
Boston College (3-14, 0-9 ACC) returns to the courts on Wednesday, April 6, when the team plays Holy Cross in a match currently scheduled in Worcester at 4 p.m.
