CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore pitcher Jessica Dreswick (softball) and junior catcher Nick Sciortino (baseball) have been named Eagles of the Week.
Dreswick became the first pitcher in program history to throw a no-hitter in ACC play, and the second all-time, during Boston College's 4-0 victory against NC State on Saturday. She was dominant in all seven innings of work, striking out six and not allowing a runner to advance past first base until the bottom of the seventh inning.
Sciortino recorded his first career walk-off hit with the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth against No. 4 Louisville on Saturday. Sciortino led the Eagles with a .400 batting average, a .500 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage in the three-game series. He was 7-for-15 last week with three RBIs, two doubles and a home run.

Softball (24-20, 7-8 ACC) is on the road all week, including a three-game series at Syracuse this weekend. Baseball (21-15, 7-12 ACC) has five home games this week against UMass Lowell (Tuesday), Bryant (Wednesday) and Virginia Tech (Friday-Sunday).
