Dreswick Named ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week

The sophomore threw the first ACC no-hitter in program history
CHESNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College softball's Jessica Dreswick can add another accomplishment to her memorable weekend.
The sophomore was crowned ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week by the conference Monday afternoon, making her the first Eagle to do so this season. She shared the honor with Florida State's Meghan King.
Dreswick became the first pitcher in program history to throw a no-hitter in ACC play, and the second all-time, during Boston College's 4-0 victory over NC State on Saturday. The Flemington, N.J., native was dominant in all seven innings of work, striking out six and not allowing a runner to advance past first base until the bottom of the seventh inning.
The feat comes just a month after Dreswick was an out away from recording a no-hitter against Georgia Tech.
