Eagles Celebrate Six Seniors Final Home Game Saturday

BC finishes its regular season schedule with a matinee vs. Johns Hopkins, will celebrate six seniors with post-game ceremony
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Eagles look to finish the regular season on a high note when they host the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins at the Newton Campus Lacrosse Field on Saturday at 1pm. The game will honor the team's six seniors with a special post-game ceremony as a
thank you to their commitment as student athletes over the past four years. With 52 wins for this class since the start of their freshman years in 2013, a victory would make the 2016 class the winningest class in program history. The six seniors are: Emily Zlevor, Kara Magley, Kate Rich, Molly Erdle, Caroline Margolis and Sarah Mannelly.

GAME NOTES
- With its victory over Harvard on Wednesday evening, Boston College has now amassed 10 win seasons in each of the last eight years and for the ninth time overall.
- With a combined 14 points, the duo of Kenzie Kent and Kate Weeks both surpassed the 50-point mark for their careers against Harvard. Kent set a new career best for assists (6) while Weeks six goals were the most she has ever had in a single game. Weeks also leads the team with 11 multi-goal games.
- Sarah Mannelly moved into third place in the program's career goal record with three tallies at Harvard on April 20th. With 169 career goals, she surpassed Kristin Igoe's mark of 168 set from 2008-2012. Her 63 points this season are already 10th most for a single season with at least two more games to go this season. She had already moved up to as high as fourth place in the career points and assists record while she moved up to eighth in the all-time draw controls record. The maroon and gold will be playing in only its second ever game against Johns Hopkins, finishing the second half of a home and home season series. In the inaugural game last year, BC defeated the Blue Jays 9-5. In the latest statistics, BC is ranked third in conference in draw controls per game (14.27), free position percentage (0.430), and turnovers per game (12.53) while they are fourth in assists per game (5.07), points per game (17.53) and scoring offense (12.47). The Eagles draw controls per game mark is sixth best in the nation while the turnovers per game and scoring offense categories are ranked 18th and 19th nationally, respectively. Individually, Sarah Mannelly is first in the conference in both assists (26) and assists per game (1.73), which put her 14th and 24th nationally in those categories. She also finds herself third in ACC in points with 57 and points per game (3.80). Molly Erdle is fourth in conference in caused turnovers per game (1.80), which places her 23rd in the nation while Caroline Margolis' 0.53 free position goals per game is sixth best in the conference.
LAST TIME OUT
- BC, playing it its 25th matchup all-time against Harvard on Wednesday evening, defeated the Crimson on their home field, 16-9.
NEXT UP:
- The Eagles will head to the ACC Championships this week, being held on the campus of Virginia Tech April 28 - May 1. Opponents and game times have yet to be determined.Â
