CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - With spring sports in the midst of the second halves of their seasons, excitment is picking up around campus.
SOFTBALL
Senior Megan Cooley has been an impactful player for the Eagles throughout her career, as she holds several single-season and career records for Boston College. So it comes as no surprise that Cooley has been named a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award. Fans can vote for Cooley once every day right here until voting closes on May 9.
FOOTBALL
Former Eagle and current New Orleans Saints defensive end Kasim Edebali is set to begin his third season in the NFL. It's a season where many believe he is trending up.
LACROSSE
One current Eagle and another former Eagle were among those drafted in the inaugural UWLX draft. Current assistant coach Brooke Griffin was selected in the fourth round and 13th overall by the Baltimore Ride while Kristin Igoe (Boston College '11) was chosen in the eighth round and 36th overall by the Boston Storm.
Along with Griffin, four former Boston College graduates were among the draft pool.
