Trio Leads Eagles to Upset of No. 19 Clemson

Borr, Safron and Urbinati all go 2-0 on the day
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team upset No. 19 Clemson, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at the Flynn Complex.
The Eagles started off the match claiming the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and 2, before taking four of six singles matches, including wins over two ranked opponents in the first two courts.
Lexi Borr, Emily Safron and Jackie Urbinati all went 2-0 on the afternoon to help pace the Eagles.
The match also featured the return of Asiya Dair and Jennifer Ren from extended injury absences, helping propel the Eagles to the victory.
BC (6-6, 1-4 ACC) returns to the court on Sunday at 11 a.m. when they host No. 33 Georgia Tech at the Flynn Complex.
