BC Sailors in the Olympic Trials

Four BC Sailors, Annie Haeger ('12), Briana Provancha ('12), Erika Reineke ('17), and Stephanie Hudson ('13) , will be competing in this years' Olympic Trials.
Annie Haeger  and Briana Provancha  will be competing together in the Women's 470 events. They are currently ranked fifth in the world and won a gold medal at the 2015 Olympic test event. They also placed seventh in the 2015 World 470 Championships and third in the 2015 European 470 Championships.
At BC, Annie was a two-time co-ed All American, the 2011 ICSA Women's College Sailor of the Year, and the 2012 Eagle of the Year and the three-time National Champion in Women's Singlehanded Sailing. She was also the starting skipper in the Eagles 2012 Women's National Championship Victory.Brianna helped the Eagles win the 2008 Team Racing National Title as a crew her freshman year. She and Annie first teamed up her sophomore year at the 2009 Women's National Championship where the duo finished first in the B-Division and third place overall. Briana was the starting skipper on the Women's Team when they won the 2012 Women's National Championship.
Erika Reineke will be competing in the Singlehanded Laser Radial Olympic Trials. Erika is the 2010 and 2011 World Youth Champion and the 2013 North American Champion. She placed eight in the 2012 World Championships, sixth in the 2014 Olympic Test event, tenth in the 2015 World Championships, and first in 2015 Kiel Week.
The Junior is currently on a leave of absence from BC in order to prepare for the 2016 Olympic Trials and Games in Rio. She is the three-time winner of the Women's Singlehanded National Championship as well as a three-time All-American and finalist for the Women's Sailor of the Year.
Stephanie Hudson will be competing in the Nacra17 Olympic Trials if the US qualifies for the Olympics in the World Cup Regatta taking place in Miami. Stephanie placed seventeenth in the 2014 Olympic Test Event, fortieth in the 2014 World Championship, and ninth in the 2015 World Championships.
At BC, Stephanie was a 2013 All American and the starting A-Division skipper on the Eagles 2013 Women's Conference Championship winning team. She was also named to the 2013 All Conference First Team.
