Third Straight All-American Honors
CHESTHUT HILL, Mass.—Graduate student Liv Westphal finished tenth in the 5000 meters at this year's NCAA Indoor Track Championships. Westphal entered the race as the seventh overall qualifier. She crossed the line at 16:11.92.
Liv's position earned her Second-Team All-American status. This is her second year in a row garnering that title. She finished ninth at last year's NCAA Championship. This is also Liv's third straight track and field season earning All-American honors. The French national received the honor at last year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
This marks the end of the indoor season for the Eagles. They will hit the track again in two weeks at the Raleigh Relays, opening their outdoor season.
