BC HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
- In the first half, Sarah Mannelly became only the sixth player in program history to tally 150 career goals and the first since Covie Stanwick and Mikaela Rix, who both reached the milestone against UMass Lowell in February 2015.
- Mannelly also moved into sixth place all-time in program history for career points as she surpassed Brooke Blue's record of 203 between 2010 and 2014.
- Caroline Zaffino recorded her first three career points on three goals off the bench vs. Stetson Sunday. Emma Schurr found Zaffino for her first goal of the game at 16:29 of the first half before the Darien, Conn. native tallied a pair of unassisted goals at 12:34 and 1:21 of the second half, respectively.
- Sunday's game at Stetson was the first time in program history the Eagles met the Hatters on the lacrosse field. With the 18-10 victory, BC is now 46-23 in inaugural matchups all-time, including playoffs, while they are 9-2 in those games since Acacia Walker took over as head coach in 2013.
- The 11 first half goals registered by the Eagles tied the most goals in a half this season, with February 17th's 19-6 win over Holy Cross being the only other time.
- Taylor Walker also notched her first career goal in the second half before adding an assist on a Tess Chandler goal later. She now has three career points in her young college career, as she previously had an assist against Navy on March 5.
- Sophomore Tara Schurr recorded her second goal of the season at the 15:40 mark of the second half. She now has six career goals over seven games.
- With four goals and two assists, Sam Apuzzo set a new career high with six points. Her previous high of four points was set in three different games earlier this season.
- Senior Molly Erdle caused a career high five turnovers, two more than her previous career high, which was set three different times in her 59 games. She also surpassed her previous career high of four ground balls with five today.
- BC's 37 shots tied the second most shots recorded in a game this season. They previously tallied 37 against Holy Cross (W, 19-6) and 38 against Navy (W, 17-9). The Eagles won 19 draw controls to Stetson's 11. They also led in ground balls (18-15) and in caused turnovers (9-3).
