2016 Armory Results

The Eagles headed to the Big Apple for the Armory Track Invitational at one of the country's most notable track and field venues.
BC Highlights

Boston College finished 17^th place out of a field of 35 teams, including No. 15 Miami and No. 17 Duke. The Eagles accumulate a total of 8 points.
Sophomore Johanna Celli finished 31^st in the 400 meters. Celli nearly knocked off her current PR, crossing the line in 57.25.
Freshman Erica Hefnawy placed 20^th in the 800 meters, followed by sophomore Julia Barron in 21^st. Hefnawy finished in 2:16.42 with Barron cruising behind her in 2:16.50.
The freshmen dominated the 1000 meters. Bender, Leff, and Hefnawy finished in successive order, 22^nd-24^th. All three set new PR's in the event.
Sophomore Isabelle Kennedy had a huge 3000-meter event. The Boulder, Colorado native finished fourth in the 3000 meters. Her time, 9:43.42, qualified her for the ECAC Championships.
Senior Margaret Mullins qualified for the ECAC's with her tenth place finish in the 5,000 meters. Mullins crossed the line at 17:24.69.
Liv Westphal also qualified for the ECAC's with her performance in the Invitational 3000-meter section. Westphal finished 9^thoverall, but first out of the collegiate runners, with a time of 9:14.32.
The DMR squad (Paige Duca, Carly Daniel, Molly McCabe, Danielle Winslow) finished second with a time 11:25.28, which qualifies them for the ECAC Championships.
