"UConn is a very tough team to play, especially on the road. Elaine Chuli is a fantastic goaltender for them. This game could've been a trap game given we have the Beanpot Championship, but we kept our heads up and gutted out a difficult win."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 1st, 5:28// 1-0 – BC GOAL: After a shot from the point was blocked, Carpenter connected with Skarupa along the half boards and Skarupa played the puck across to Keller at the far point. Keller's blast was wide of the goal, but caromed back in front off the boards, where Carpenter was on the doorstep for the goal and 1-0 lead
- 1st, 13:56 // 1-1 – UCONN GOAL: Just as Dana Trivigno's penalty expired, the Huskies broke into the zone where Justine Fredette launched a shot from the far edge of the circle. Katie Burt made the initial save, but the puck popped up and Theresa Knutson slid in through the crease to poke the rebound home.
- 2nd, 3:55 // 1-2 – UCONN GOAL: Katie Burt came way out to poke the puck away and the Eagles appeared to have possession, but the Huskies regained control and put a high shot toward goal. It hit two Eagles out in front and fell where Harris rushed in to poke it into the open net
- 2nd, 5:34 // 2-2 – BC GOAL (PPG): On the man-advantage, Kali Flanagan and Lexi Bender worked the play along the blueline before Bender ripped a shot into traffic. Dana Trivigno tipped it in front for the power-play goal and leveled the game at 2-2.
- 2nd, 8:47 // 3-2 – BC GOAL (PPG): Carpenter skated a path through the UConn box and sniped a shot five-hole past Chuli to re-take the lead for the Eagles. After Carpenter won the faceoff, Kent sent the puck up to Keller at the center point. Carpenter rotated off the half boards and took the puck from Keller, then skated through the Husky defense before ripping a shot past Chuli.
- 3rd, 7:32 // 3-3 – UCONN GOAL: UConn dumped it and the Eagles were unable to clear the zone. …. Brittany Berisoff got control deep and played it out to Jessica Stott alone just inside the blue line. Stott's rising blast found space through traffic in front to even it up at 3-3.
