SATURDAY'S HEADLINES
- A win or a tie on Saturday pushes the Eagles' current undefeated streak to 29 games, setting a new program record (28 games in 2014-15) ... BC has a program-record 28-game winning streak going, the second-longest NCAA history
- UConn is the last team to hand the Eagles a loss in the Hockey East regular season, doing so on Feb. 8, 2012 ... BC is 43-0-1 in league play since
- The Eagles excel on special teams, ranking No. 2 nationally on the power play (27.7 percent) and third on the penalty kill (92.4 percent)
- Alex Carpenter (32-29-63) is second in the nation in points and points per game (2.25), while Haley Skarupa is fourth in points (22-30-52) and fifth in points per game (1.86)

New Hampshire first claimed 20 wins in 2007-08 as part of an undefeated 20-0-1 season, before the Eagles equaled the Wildcats' 20-0-1 record last year in 2014-15 ... in both of those seasons, Hockey East teams played 21 games, but starting this year, league members now have 24 conference games on the docket following Merrimack's entry into Hockey East.
STOPPERS & SHUTOUTS
This season, Boston College has recorded 11 shutouts ... Katie Burt has 10 in 23 starts, while Gabri Switaj has one in five starts ... BC's program record is 12 shutouts in 2014-15, while the team also posted 11 in 2008-09 ... Burt's 10 shutouts so far this season has matched her shared single-season program record of 10, which she recorded last year after Molly Schaus '11 initially set the record in 2008-09.
STREAK'S STILL STRONG IN HOCKEY EAST
BC enters the week riding a 44-game undefeated streak in regular-season conference play that dates back to the 2013-14 season ... the Eagles' last loss in league play was Feb. 8, 2014, a 2-0 setback at Connecticut ... since that loss, BC is 43-0-1 in regular-season action, including last year's 20-0-1 season ... since the start of the 2012-13 season (the majority of the senior class' freshman year), BC is 74-4-4 in regular-season conference games.
ROAD WARRIORS
Boston College is a perfect 14-0-0 away from home this season, including a 13-0-0 record in true away games ... BC has won road contests at No. 9 Cornell (twice), UConn, Boston University (twice), New Hampshire, No. 4 Northeastern, Maine (twice), Syracuse, Merrimack (twice) and Harvard, and also defeated Harvard again on neutral ice ... in BC's 13 true road games, the Eagles have out-scored their hosts 64-11 and have posted six of the team's nine shutouts (Cornell, UConn, UNH, Maine, Merrimack, Harvard) ... Following Saturday's game at UConn, the Eagles attention will shift to the Beanpot championship game on Tuesday night ... at 7:30 p.m., BC will face No. 5 Northeastern for the 38th Beanpot at BU's Walter Brown Arena ... the Eagles earned their berth via an 8-0 win over Harvard on Tuesday, while the Huskies topped BU, 3-2 ... the Eagles are looking for their sixth Beanpot championship in school history, and their first since 2014 - when BC topped Northeastern, 3-0, for the title.
