BC Highlights
- Boston College women's track & field team finished thirteenth at this year's ACC Championships. The team accumulated a total of 13 points, edging out Wake Forest and Pittsburgh.
- Graduate student Liv Westphal excelled once again in her trademark event, the 3000m. Westphal finished third against a stacked field. She crossed the line with a time of 9:14.21, her fastest time of the season.
- Danielle Winslow put together impressive performances in both of the events she competed in this weekend. The graduate student finished seventh in the 3000m, posting a time of 9:24.21, setting a new personal record in the event. Winslow also competed in the 5000m, where she finished seventh and earned the Eagles two points. Sophomore Isabelle Kennedy followed close behind, finishing in eighth at 16:25.97, setting a new personal record.
- The freshman class had a great first showing at ACC's for the Eagles. Molly McCabe finished 13th in the 800 meter preliminaries, posting a time of 2:11.23. Elizabeth Knoll finished 10th in the high jump, reaching 1.68m. Paige Duca finished 20th in the mile prelims. Her time, 4:56.98, is a new personal record and qualifies her for the ECAC Championships.
- The Eagles have a week off to prepare for the ECAC Championships in two weeks.Â
