BC HIGHLIGHTS

Sophomore Annie Murphy went 1-of-3 at the plate. Her single in the seventh inning increased her hitting streak to four games.
Boston College defeated Indiana State, 4-0, earlier in the day.

TURNING POINT

Auburn poured in four runs in the first two innings that proved to be more than enough cushion the rest of the way.

HOW IT HAPPENED

With two on in the bottom of the first Madi Gipson doubled to center field, scoring Tiffany Howard. Jade Rhodes followed up with a single that plated both Gipson and Emily Carosone, giving the Tigers a 3-0 edge after one.
Auburn would add another in the second, as a Howard single knocked in one more.
The Tigers would get two more runs of insurance in the bottom of the sixth by way of a two-run home run by Kasey Cooper.
