ABOUT BC
- Boston College improved to 14-12 on the season with an ACC road win at Clemson on Thursday. The Eagles improved to 2-11 in conference and will host No. 11 Louisville on Sunday. Fans can purchase tickets at the gate prior to the 1 p.m. tip.
- Junior Kelly Hughes hit 5-of-9 from long range, scored a team-high 21 points and seven rebounds as BC defeated Clemson, 67-64, on the road. Mariella Fasoula had 16 points while Emilee Daley and Kailey Edwards combined for 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists off the bench.
- Louisville is currently ranked 11th in the country and has a 21-6 record. The Cards are 12-1 in the ACC after defeating Virginia on Thursday, 74-59. Myisha Hines-Allen leads the Cards in scoring (16.7) and rebounding (8.0), while Mariya Moore is averaging 15.2 points and has a team-high 126 assists.
- Rookie center Mariella Fasoula continues to be one of the top first-year players in the ACC. The 6-foot-4 center leads all ACC rookies in scoring (14.1 ppg.) and she is fourth in the conference in field goal percentage. She has scored in double-figures in 20 games, including 12 consecutive.
- Junior Kelly Hughes is just four rebounds from 500 career boards. She will be the 16th player in program history to have over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. She leads the Eagles in scoring (14.3 ppg.) and rebounding (5.9 rpg.). Hughes has posted four double-doubles and has led the team in scoring in 12 games.
- Boston College is 19th in the country in assists per game (16.7), 36th in field goal percentage (44%), 17th in three-point field goal percentage (36.9).
- BC has made at least one three-pointer in 263 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2008 against Yale.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Boston College women's basketball team defeated Clemson, 67-64, on the road behind 21 points and seven rebounds from Kelly Hughes. Freshman Mariella Fasoula chipped in with 16 points and four rebounds. Juniors Emilee Daley (10 points, three rebounds) and Kailey Edwards (10 points, 4 rebounds, 0 turnovers) supplied a spark on defense and offense in the win.
- After one quarter BC led, 23-13, behind seven points from Daley.
- The second half, Clemson cut the lead as Nelly Perry scored 17 first half points. BC shot 52 percent in the half, while the Eagles held Clemson to just 39 percent from the floor.
- Clemson outscored BC, 20-12, in the third quarter as the Eagles held a two-point lead. Victoria Cardaci hit a three at the buzzer as Clemson entered the final quarter down, 48-46.
- BC went up 11 points on a three by Hughes and a jumper by Kailey Edwards. Clemson came back and cut it to one point with 2:28 to play on a hoop by Sira Diarra. A Hughes three pushed the lead back to three points. After two from Perry with 31 seconds to play, BC held a 64-62 lead. Hughes, Katie Quandt hit free throws to seal the win.
BC vs. LOUISVILLE
- This will be the fourth meeting between BC and Louisville. The Cardinals have a 2-1 edge in the series.
- The two teams first played on Dec. 28, 1985. BC defeated Louisville, 74-68, behind 20 points from Marie Grant and 16 Pam Thornton. The game was played at the WRAL Classic hosted by N.C. State.
- Last year was the first meeting between the two teams in ACC play. Louisville defeated BC, 77-60. Nicole Boudreau had 12 points while Emilee Daley pitched in with 10 points and three assists.
LAST THREE GAMES
- The Eagles are 2-1 in the last three games. The win over Clemson on Thursday (67-64) halted a seven game losing streak.
- In the last three games, BC averaged just 60 points per game, but gave up 66.3 points per game.
- The Eagles shot 42.7 percent from the floor and 32.7 percent from long range in the three game run. Opponents shot 42 percent from the floor and 28 percent from the three-point arc in the three games.

- Junior Kelly Hughes and freshman Mariella Fasoula continue to lead the Eagles in scoring and rebounding. In the last three games, Hughes is averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and shooting 42 percent from the floor and 47 percent from long range. Fasoula shot 70 percent from the floor in the three game run and averaged 16.3 points per game. She was also 7-for-10 from the foul line.
- In the three games, Kailey Edwards continues to be the spark off the bench. The redshirt junior from Colorado averaged 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and shot 37 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the foul line in three games. She also had just one turnover in the run while playing 27 minutes a game.
- Boston College will host Syracuse on Thursday at 7 p.m. Fans are asked to arrive early as the BC women's basketball team will honor the senior class – Nicole Boudreau and Alexa Coulombe.
