BC BACK ON THE ROAD AT CLEMSON
• Boston College is back on the road for two games this week beginning at Clemson on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
• The game will be televised by RSN/NESN and can be heard on the radio on WEEI 850 AM and bceagles.com.
• Boston College has lost its first 12 conference matchups. It lost to Syracuse at home on Sunday, 75-61.
• Clemson won its most recent outing against Georgia Tech, 66-52, after losing the previous two games.
• The Tigers are 12-3 at home this season and 6-1 in the league. BC is 0-7 on the road.
• Clemson won last year's matchup at Littlejohn Coliseum, 64-49, and has a 12-7 record in the all-time series.
LAST TIME vs. CLEMSON
• Aaron Brown and Olivier Hanlan both scored 15 points as Boston College lost at Clemson on January 31, 2015, 64-49.
• Hanlan added five assists and four rebounds. Both were 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.
• Jordan Roper scored the fi rst 11 points for Clemson as the Tigers opened the game on an 11-3 run.
• That extended into a 27-10 opening run over the first 14:22.
• Boston College was able to cut the defi cit to 27-16 before the end of the half.
• The Eagles continued the run into the second half and it ended at 9-1 which put the defi cit at 28-19 a little more than two minutes in. That is as close as the Eagles would get.
• Clemson responded with an 18-6 run to build its lead to 46-25 with 12:14 remaining.
EAGLES LOSE TO SYRACUSE
• Freshman Matt Milon scored a game and seasonhigh 25 points as Boston College lost to Syracuse, 75-61, on Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum.
• Milon went 8-for-12 from the fi eld and 5-for-7 from beyond the arc.
• His field goals, 3-pointers and free throws (4-for-4) were all season highs.
• Senior Dennis Clifford recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists. He was 7-for-11 from the floor.
• Freshman Sammy Barnes-Thompkins scored all 11 of his points in the second half, hitting three 3-pointers.
• Syracuse went on the fi rst run of the game, scoring 13 unanswered points to build a 21-11 lead a little more than 10 minutes into the game.
• The Orange lead was 32-23 with 3:23 left in the half, but Boston College fi nished the half with a 9-3 run to make it 35-32. Milon had fi ve of the points in that span.
• The Eagles scored six straight to take a 41-39 lead early in the second, capped by Clifford's and-one. It was BC's fi rst lead since 11-8.
• From there, Syracuse went on a 10-1 run to take a 49-43 lead. That triggered a 24-7 run that made it a 63-48 lead with 9:00 left.
• The lead was nine or more the rest of the way.
