Eagles Go Fowling

The football team takes on a new sport
DETROIT  - The Boston College football team arrived in Detroit on Thursday for the 2016 Quick Lane Bowl, which will take place on Dec. 26 at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN). While the Eagles start bowl prep against Maryland, they are also taking in local sights and experiences of the area.Â
It began on Thursday night with Fowling, which combines football and bowling.
After the Eagles got the hang of it, playing against each other, everyone at Fowling Warehouse got a taste of Monday's competition as BC's best took on Maryland's best. The Eagles won in walk-off fashion as both teams were down to one pin apiece and senior long snapper Leonard Skubal knocked off the game winner in an unconventional fashion (except maybe, to him).
He described the experienced and his decision afterwards.Â
The feat landed him on ESPN's SportCenter's Top 10 Plays.
Check out photos from the night's action.
