THIRD-STRAIGHT HOCKEY EAST HOME-AND-HOME
- This weekend Boston College plays its third-straight Hockey East home-and-home series, this time with New Hampshire
- BC started the stretch with two against UConn and last weekend faced Boston University two times
- Next weekend, the Eagles will play Northeastern once - at Matthews Arena - on Sunday before returning to Huntington Ave. the following Saturday to split a two-game away series by six days and Thanksgiving
SERIES AGAINST NEW HAMPSHIRE
- Overall: 19-39-5
- Home: 10-19-2
- Away: 9-19-3
- Neutral: 0-1-0
- Hockey East: 18-24-4
- HEA Tournament: 1-2-0
- Friday's game is the second of three regular-season meetings scheduled this season ... BC won the first meeting, 4-1, on Oct. 14 ... the teams will play the final game tomorrow, Nov. 12 (Chestnut Hill, Mass.)
- Friday's meeting will be the 64th all-time between BC and New Hampshire
- The Wildcats hold a 39-19-5 advantage in the series, including a 19-9-3 mark in Durham
- BC is 18-24-4 against UNH since Hockey East launched its women's league in 2002-03, including a 17-22-4 mark in regular-season action

EAGLES STILL PACING HOCKEY EAST
- Boston College may have picked up its second Hockey East loss of the season on Saturday at BU - its most in a season since 2013-14 when the team went 18-2-1 - but the Eagles are still pacing the league in almost every statistic
- In Hockey East games, BC is the conference's top scoring team (3.62 goals per game), most goals (29), top defensive team (1.88 goals allowed per game), has the top power play (27.3 percent) and best net special teams (+10)
- BC is also the only ranked team from Hockey East in either the USCHO or USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls
GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK AGAIN ...
- Megan Keller has returned to the team after missing the Eagles' last four games while with the U.S. National Team at the Four Nations Cup where the team won gold
- In four games at the Four Nations Cup, Keller tallied one goal and one assist
- She joined up with Team USA on Friday, Oct. 28, and missed the Eagles' series against Connecticut and Boston University, in which BC went 3-1-0
- This was the second time she played in the Four Nations Cup, also helping the U.S. win gold in 2014
- She was one of six BC Eagles on the 23-player roster set to represent the U.S., joining Alex Carpenter '16, Emily Pfalzer '15, Haley Skarupa '16, Kelli Stack '11 and Dana Trivigno '16
- Keller was one of three collegians on the team and the youngest player on the U.S.' Four Nations Cup roster
FRESHMAN MAKING NOISE NATIONALLY
- Two members of the Eagles' freshman class are among the nation's leaders in various scoring categories
- Caitrin Lonergan is tied for the national freshman scoring lead (15 points) and leads all freshman nationally in goals (8) ... her 7 assists are tied for fifth-most nationally among freshmen
- Delaney Belinskas' seven goals are second-most nationally among freshmen - behind Lonergan
- Overall, Lonergan is tied for 11th nationally in points (15) among all players, while she is tied for eighth nationally in goals
- Both players have three power-play goals, which is tied for the second-most PPGs scored nationally
EAGLES GRAB THREE-STRAIGHT WEEKLY HONORS
- Boston College players have earned Hockey East weekly awards for three-straight weeks
- Katie Burt kicked off the run by earning Player of the Week honors on Oct. 24 after her performance in the Eagles' series against No. 3 Quinnipiac
- Andie Anastos then was co-Player of the Week on Oct. 31 for her efforts in the Eagles' sweep of Connecticut
- Last week, Caitrin Lonergan picked up BC's second Rookie of the Week nod after her stand-out performances against Boston University ... last week she was christened Hockey East's Rookie of the Month for October
- Earlier this season, Delaney Belinskas was tabbed Rookie of the Week after her four-goal outing against Maine
SECOND LINE STEAMROLLING
- The Eagles' second line of Kristyn Capizzano, Caitrin Lonergan and Makenna Newkirk has been on a roll the last four games, recording a combined 17 points between them
- Capizzano has notched 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists), while Lonergan has added 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists) as BC has gone 3-1-0 in that stretch
- In the same run, Newkirk has led all Hockey East players with 7 points (1 goal, and a league-high 6 assists)
SPECIAL TEAMS DOING SPECIAL THINGS
- Boston College's special teams have been hot to start the season
- The Eagles are second in the nation in combined special teams, proving successful in 69-of-117 opportunities this season (59.0 percent)
- On the power play, BC ranks first nationally with a 30.0 percent conversion (18-for-60) ... the team's 18 power-play goals are tops nationally, as well ... the next closest team is Colgate (14 in 11 games)
- On the penalty kill, the Eagles rank 12th nationally with a 89.5 percent success rate (51-for-57) while scoring one shorthanded goal
- So far this season, 20 of the Eagles' 38 goals - more than half - have come via special teams (18 PPGs, 2 SHGs)
NEWKIRK COMING AROUND NICELY
- Makenna Newkirk has emerged this season after a slow start following her 49-point freshman campaign
- In the last five games, she has 9 points (2 goals, 7 assists) and is now ranked second on the team in scoring with 11 points
- She started the season pointless in the first four games before a two-point game at UNH on Oct. 14
- Overall this year, she has four multiple-point games
