BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior running back Tyler Rouse caught his first career touchdown pass on a 39-yard reception in the third quarter. His 50 receiving yards were three shy of his career high.
- Junior wide receiver Charlie Callinan led the Eagles with a career-high four receptions and 54 receiving yards.
- Junior linebacker Connor Strachan set a new personal season-high with a team-leading nine tackles, including eight solo stops. He also recorded his third fumble recovery of the season, the sixth of his career.
- Senior defensive back John Johnson recorded his second interception of the season and the 22-yard return for Johnson was the longest of his career.
- Senior defensive end Kevin Kavalec recorded his first career forced fumble and matched a season-high with three tackles for a loss of 15 yards.
KEY MOMENT
The Cardinals jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, as Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson ran in for a 69-yard touchdown 16 seconds into the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Louisville's Lamar Jackson scored on the third play of the game with a 69-yard touchdown run.
- He went on to throw four touchdown passes in the first half, including a pair to James Quick, to lead the Cardinals to a 38-0 halftime lead.
- Boston College got on the board early in the third quarter when Patrick Towles rolled out to the right and found Rouse out of the backfield for a 39-yard touchdown.
- Louisville responded on its next drive with an eight-play, 77-yard drive to increase its lead to 45-7 with 8:19 left in the third quarter.
- With just under two minutes to play in the third, Jackson ran 53 yards into the end zone to make it 52-7.
