HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams traded a few runs in the first half and Boston College made the first one, scoring six unanswered to build a 17-8 lead at the 12:40 mark. Robinson hit consecutive threes to build the lead.
- Richmond responded with 10-straight points of its own over the next five minutes to take an 18-17 lead with 7:15 left in the half.
- From there, BC went on an 11-2 scoring stretch to regain a 28-20 lead with 4:45 on the clock. The Eagles took a 33-25 lead into the locker room.
- Richmond started the second half by scoring the first nine points. That sparked a 24-6 run in the first 12 minutes to build a 49-39 Spider lead.
- The Eagles responded with the next five points, but that is as close as they would get.
