- The Eagles connected on the two-point conversion to go up by seven and then on NC State's ensuing drive, Moore intercepted QB Ryan Finley's pass in the end zone to give BC the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Wolfpack answered with 8:24 to go in the first half. On a third-and-two, Finley connected with Bra'Lon Cherry for a 79-yard touchdown to give NC State the 7-3 lead.
- BC regained the lead on the Eagles' ensuing drive. Smith ran the jet sweep 60 yards in for a touchdown to go up, 10-7, with 7:35 to play in the first half.
- On BC's final drive of the half, the Eagles were backed up to their five-yard line, but a pass interference call on State gave BC the first down at its 20. Towles completed a nine-yard pass to Smith, followed by a 29-yard pass to Walker and a 17-yarder to Sweeney to advance BC to State's 42. Knoll attempted a 42-yard field with just over a minute to play in the half but it was blocked. The BC defense held the Pack scoreless on its final drive.
- BC was first to score in the second half on a 29-yard field goal by Knoll with just over 10 minutes to play in the third quarter. On third-and-14 at the NC State 31-yard line, junior Harold Landry sacked QB Finley, forcing a fumble. Sophomore Zach Allen picked it up to give BC the ball back.
- NC State retook the lead with 8:31 to play in the third quarter. After junior Ty Schwab intercepted Finley's pass on a tip from Milano at the BC seven-yard line, Towles' pass was intercepted on BC's first play of the drive. Finley hit Kelvin Harmon for a 23-yard TD pass to make it 14-13.Â
- The Eagles took the lead with just under five minutes to play in the game. To cap off a nine-play, 4:33 drive, Towles handed off to Jones, who hit a wide open Sweeney for a 14-yard touchdown pass. Towles then connected with Sweeney for the two-point conversion to give BC the 21-14 lead.Â
- NC State came right back, returning the kickoff 56 yards to the BC 42-yard line. Finley hit Nyheim Hines for a 32-yard pass to bring it to the 10-yard line but the BC defense held strong.
