Dylan Greenberg scored his first goal of the season with seven seconds left in the first overtime period to lift Connecticut to a 1-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Connecticut took the first four shots of the match forcing saves from freshman Jack Bacon and sophomore Cedric Saladin.
- Sophomore Simon Enstrom took Boston College's only shot of the first half in the 25th minute but his attempt sailed wide of the target.
- The Huskies took the first five shots of the second half but none of them tested Saladin. Freshman Younes Boudadi recorded the first shot on goal for BC in the 60th minute but it was saved.
- Enstrom notched the other shot on goal in the 76th minute.
- UConn ended it in the 100th minute when Dylan Greenberg scored with seven seconds left in the first overtime. Abdou Thiam and Kwame Awuah earned the assists.
