- The win halted a two-game losing skid against Pittsburgh. The Eagles now lead the overall series against the Panthers, 26-17.
- In the first four ACC games of the 2016, BC has played four ranked teams - RV/RV Virginia Tech, No. 15/19 FSU, No. 3/3 Notre Dame and No. 19/22 Duke.
- BC is ranked eighth in the country in 3-point field goal percentage (38.8), 20th in scoring defense, 39th in field goal percentage (43.9), 25th in assists per game and 59th in assist to turnover ratio (1.01).

- Rookie Mariella Fasoula is second in the ACC and 28th in the country in field goal percentage (55.6). Teammate Nicole Boudreau is second in the conference and 35th in country in assist turnover ratio (2.19).
- BC went 12-1 in non-conference play, including an impressive 6-0 record in the month of December.
- The Eagles have made at least one three-pointer in 255 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2008 against Yale.

- This is the 13th game between Boston College and Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons have a 4-9 edge in the overall series.
- The two teams played twice in 2015. BC defeated Wake Forest on the road, 75-74. Kelly Hughes led the Eagles with a career-high 32 points. She also had eight boards and four assists. After Hughes hit her seventh three of the game, teammate Karima Gabriel blocked a layup to preserve the Eagles lead with seconds to play.
- In the second game, Wake Forest got the best of BC, 69-53, at the ACC Tournament. Senior Dearica Hamby had 23 points and eight boards as the Decs earned the win. BC's Emilee Daley and Nicole Boudreau led BC with 12 points and five rebounds apiece. Wake Forest held Kelly Hughes to just six points in the game.
- Boston College is 1-2 in the last three games. The Eagles victory came on Sunday against Pittsburgh. The two losses were against No. 3/3 Notre Dame and No. 19/22 Duke on the road.
- The Eagles offense is averaging 51.7 points per game in the three game run. Kelly Hughes leads the team in scoring (16 ppg.) and rebounding (6.7 rpg.). Mariella Fasoula is right behind the Hughes, as the rookie center is averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds.
- The team is shooting 41.2 percent from the floor and 43.2 percent from long range.
- BC still needs to focus on taking care of the ball as the Eagles are averaging 19.7 turnovers a game.
- Boston College is averaging 14.7 assists a game. In the last three games, Martina Mosetti is averaging 4.0 assists per game while Nicole Boudreau is 3.5 assists in the three-game run.
- The Eagles have lost the battle of the boards in the last three games, 106-84.
- Junior Kelly Hughes three-pointer in the third quarter vs. Duke pushed her past the 1,000 point plateau on Jan. 17. She became the 26th player in program history to reach the plateau. Against Notre Dame, Hughes became the eight player in program history to make 200 or more three-pointers. She also recorded her second double-double of the season (17 points, 11 rebounds) against Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau became the eighth player in program history to have over 1,000 points and 300 assists. The guard is averaging 7.2 points, 3.2 assists and is second in the ACC and 35th in the country in assists to turnover ratio (2.1). Boudreau needs just two more steals to move into ninth place on the all-time list and be tied with two BC greats - Nicole Conway '02 and Jess Deveny '05 – with 149 thefts.
- Senior Alexa Coulombe has started five games this season. As a starter, the forward is averaging four points, 4.8 rebounds and is shooting 47 percent from the floor. Anyone knows watching Coulombe; it's more about her defense and team play that makes her special.
- The Eagles posted an undefeated slate in the month of December (6-0). It is the first time since the 04-05 season in which BC went undefeated in the month. They are only the third BC team in program history to go undefeated in December. In 1999-00, that team went 7-0 with win over Florida to end the month.
- BC held Hartford to just 28 points in the victory on Dec. 9. It marked the first time the Eagles held a team to under 30 points since the 2006 season. That year the Eagles defeated Longwood, 85-29, on Jan. 22, 2006.
- Sophomore guard Martina Mosetti has led BC in assists in 10 games. She is averaging 4.2 helpers a game, which is seventh in the ACC.
