- Pitt was on top 28-19, but the Eagles went on a 17-9 run over 5:27 to cut the deficit to 37-36 with 1:55 left in the half. Carter had eight of the points and redshirt freshman Idy Diallo had six.
- The Panthers took a 43-36 lead into halftime.
- Pitt extended the lead with an 11-2 run to make it a 58-44 advantage with 13:16 left in the game.
