Eagles Ranked In National Polls

BC 17th in national RPI
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's soccer team is ranked as high as No. 24 in the national polls this week after starting the season 6-2-0 and 2-1-0 in the ACC.
Top Drawer Soccer ranked Boston College at No. 24 while College Soccer News has it at No. 30. In the National Soccer Coaches of Association (NSCAA) national poll, the Eagles received eight votes.
BC also appeared in the NSCAA South regional ranking for the first time this season at No. 10 and is currently No. 17 in the national RPI.
The Eagles have won their last three matches including conference wins against Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech. They have scored nine goals in those wins while allowing just two.
BC is at Rhode Island tonight and hosts No. 6 Wake Forest Friday night at 7 p.m. in Newton.
