Fallout from RB Jon Hilliman's injury and more
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Another week played, another crushing blow for the Boston College football offense.
One week after losing starting quarterback Darius Wade for the season, the Eagles now lose running back Jon Hilliman, who fractured his foot. It's a loss that leaves the running game on shaky ground. With no clear timetable for the sophomore's return, junior Tyler Rouse will be looked upon to play a bigger role during Saturday's contest against Duke.
Under center, Boston College looks set to give redshirt freshman Troy Flutie his second consecutive start. However, true freshman Jeff Smith will also likely get playing time.
