The BC ground game bounces back against Northern Illinois
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College football team wrapped up their season-opening, four-game homestand in style.
The Eagles survived a late Huskies rally, escaping with a 17-14 victory thanks to another stellar effort from the defense. Although the highlight coming in was redshirt freshman Troy Flutie making his first collegiate start, the Boston College ground game stole the show. More specifically, sophomore Jon Hilliman showed a tough mentality, bouncing back from his Week 3 performance with another 100-yard showing.
In other football news, Eagles sophomore wide receiver Drew Barksdale has come a long way from his days as a standout lacrosse player in high school back in Ohio.
Men's Soccer
Medway native Trevor Davock has had quite the start to his career at Boston College.
