SERIES HISTORY
- This is the first meeting between the Eagles and Bison
- Boston College is 23-1 all-time against FCS opponents while Howard is 0-11 against FBS foes

SCOUTING THE BISON
- Howard finished 5-7 last season and are coming off a 49-0 loss to Appalachian State last weekend
- Offensively, the Bison return running backs William Parker (Third-Team All-MEAC) and running back Aquanius Freeman, who rushed for 421 yards while recording 272 yards receiving
- On the defensive side, Howard will look to Third-Team All-MEAC linebacker Devin Rollins (122 tackles in 2014) to lead the way

- Senior defensive lineman Mehdi Abdesmad was named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Maine
- The Eagles defense ranks third in rushing yards allowed (7.0) and fourth in total yards allowed (91)
- After rushing for two touchdowns against Maine, Boston College has now scored at least one rushing touchdown in the last seven games, including two or more in 13 of the last 15
- Sophomore running back Jon Hilliman set career highs in both receptions (3) and recieving yards (33) against Maine
- After Maine totalled 54 yards on its opening drive, the Eagles limited the Black Bears to just 37 yards the rest of the way
- The touchdown catch by senior wide receiver Bobby Swigert was his first since Oct. 13, 2012 at Florida State
