TURNING POINT
Davock controlled the ball in the attacking third in the 80th minute and connected with Enstrom on a beautiful pass to his left. Enstrom took it from there, beating the keeper to give Boston College the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College got going immediately as junior Zeiko Lewis fed Moro on the left side of the attacking zone. He sent in a cross to Bangura on the far post who headed it in for the quick lead in the second minute.
- It did not take long for Boston University to respond as a BC miscue on the back line led to an easy goal for Anthony Viteri three minutes later.
- The Eagles struck again in the 16th minute when Moro sent a long ball into the box from midfield. Enstrom beat the keeper to the ball and it trickled toward the end line on the left side. He got to it and snuck it over the goal line to put BC ahead, 2-1.
- BU equalized the match in the 73rd minute. T.J. Butzke sent in a cross from the left side. The ball managed to take a bounce and then Felix De Bona got to it first, sending it into the back of the net.
- The Terriers kept on the attack but it was BC that was able to tally the winning strike. Davock handled the ball and then used a nifty pass to find Enstrom, who finished the scoring for the Eagle win. UP NEXT
