- Junior McKenzie Meehan notched a hat trick giving her seven goals in four games this season. It was her second career hat trick.

- BC held a 24-11 advantage in shots and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

TURNING POINT
Meehan scored the first of three goals in the 17th minute of the first half to give Boston College a 1-0 lead. It was her second game-winning goal of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
? Boston College had five shots in the first five minutes. Meehan would convert on the first of three goals in the game.

? The second half BC would score five unanswered goals.

? Junior Hayley Dowd scored her second goal of the season in the 50th minute. Dowd

? Two minutes later Meehan would score her second goal on a penalty kick. Just 12 minutes later, Meehan completed the hat trick and BC was up, 4-0.

? Junior Rosie DiMartino made it 5-0 on a shot from 23 yards out in the 80th minute.

? Rookie Carly Leipzig finished the scoring in the 88th minute. It marks her first collegiate goal.

"I thougth we had a great start Friday night against Stanford and it was unfortunate to have to play a man down. It forced us to play a different system. I thought our girls responded really well today with a convincing 6-0 win. More importantly it gave us the ability to work out of our system fully-loaded."
