Chestnut Hill, Mass. - As the Boston College football team enters the waning days of preseason camp and look to the first game week, the Eagles coaching staff look to solidify the starters move onto game planning against Maine. BC will host the Black Bears in the season opener on Sept. 5 at 1 p.m.
As a freshman, Sherman Alston scored four touchdowns - two rushing and two receiving - but head coach Steve Addazio is looking for the wide receiver to have a larger role on offense.
The defense returns seven starters from the 2014 team, in which the Eagles ranked second in the nation in rush defense. In fact, the defense is most likely the strength of the team in 2015. Sophomore Harold Landry is looking to make an impact on the D. Defensive coordinator Don Brown note the sky is the limit for the young lineman.
Talk about sophomore quarterback Darius Wade continues and expectations grow as the season looms near. He may be the next "dude" for Addazio.

In NFL news, a pair of fourth-round picks are looking to make it big in the NFL this year. Running back Andre Williams is hoping to pick up the Giants' ground game while former teammate linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis caught the attention of head coach Pete Carroll in Seattle.
