Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College football team has 12 days to go until the Eagles kick off the 2015 season against Maine in Alumni Stadium on Sept. 5. They finished up week two of preseason camp with a second intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday morning. While there were some bright spots, head coach Steve Addazio sees much room for improvement before the 1 p.m. tilt with the Black Bears.
The slow start by the offense worries Addazio, but the third-year head coach knows it is a work in progress.
On a positive note, things looked good on the defensive side of the ball and senior defensive lineman Connor Wujciak has a rejuvenated a sense of pride in the BC D.
Senior wide receiver David Dudeck has been a workhorse for the Eagles in his four-year career and looks to make an impression in his last season. Also, on the offensive front, sophomore offensive lineman Jon Baker is seeing his hard work pay off as he is in the running for a starting spot on the 2015 offensive line.
ESPN doled out preseason All-ACC honors this week and sophomore running back Jon Hilliman was given a nod while senior linebacker Steven Daniels was in consideration.
