Lacrosse Honored By IWLCA for Academic Success

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College was among 85 Division I programs recognized as having earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Squads for the 2014-2015 academic year, as announced Monday by the IWLCA.

It is second straight year that the Eagles have been awarded the recognition, given annually to schools that earned a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Boston College was among five schools in the Atlantic Coast Conference to receive Academic Honor Squad honors for the 2015 season.

The Eagles went 15-4 during the 2015 campaign and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Loyola Maryland.
