Four Rowers Named To All-ACC Academic Team

Senior Ellen Burr, senior Alicia McKean, senior Kaitlyn Votta and sophomore Grace Grunau were all named to the 2015 All-ACC Rowing Academic team as announced today by the conference office.
Burr, who was also a member of the All-ACC Rowing team this past season, is a four-time All-ACC Academic team honoree, while teammate Kaitlyn Votta is a three-time recipient. McKean is a two-time honoree of the academic honor.
Burr, who graduated from Boston College in May with a degree in International Studies, is a native of Cazenovia, New York.
McKean, a native of Athol, Mass., graduated in May with a degree in applied psychology. Votta, a native of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, graduated as a double-major -- biology and English this past May.
Grunau, a native of Milwaukee, Wis., is studying economics from the Carroll School of Management.
To be nominated for the All-ACC Academic team, student-athletes must have recorded a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average in the winter semester and have maintained a 3.0 career GPA at their respective schools.
