CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College guard Olivier Hanlan was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 42nd overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft.
Hanlan is the ninth Boston College player to be drafted since 1989, the first year of the current two-round format. Hanlan became the fifth Boston College player to earn First Team All-ACC accolades this past year and was also named an Honorable Mention Associated Press All-American.

The Aylmer, Quebec product led the ACC in 30-point games (four) and also led all players in major conferences in scoring average during league play. He ranked 22nd in the nation in scoring (19.5).
Hanlan ranks 12th all-time in scoring (1,725) and ninth in 3-pointers made (176) at BC. He was named ACC Freshman of the Year in 2013 and was the only unanimous choice for the ACC all-freshman teams that year. Hanlan was a Third Team All-ACC honoree as a sophomore.
