We asked, you voted and the 2015 football bobblehead has been decided ...
Linebacker Mark Herzlich '10 has been voted this year's season ticket holder bobblehead.
Herzlich's wobble-headed likeness will be distributed to season ticket holders who attend all seven home games at the final regular-season game at Alumni Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 7 against NC State.
At Boston College, Herzlich entered the 2009 season as the defending ACC Player of the Year and the league's active leader in career tackles with 247. However, he missed the entire season due to Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, which he overcame later in the year. He triumphantly returned to the field at the start of the 2010 season to finish his collegiate career.
A four-year presence on the New York Giants' defense, Herzlich will enter his fifth NFL season in 2015. He has played in 58 regular-season games with 14 starts and has racked up 104 tackles (75 solo), 1 sack, 3 passes defensed and 38 special teams tackles so far in his career.
Herzlich received the most votes over social media from June 1 to June 3, beating out the other seven candidates: Anthony Castonzo, Gosder Cherilus, Matt Hasselbeck, Luke Kuechly, BJ Raji, Matt Ryan and Andre Williams.
And remember, the Mark Herzlich bobbleheads will only be available to season ticket holders who attended all seven home games, so if you haven't already renewed or bought your 2015 season tickets, make sure you do so in order to get your hands on the 2015 bobblehead!
