BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior attacker Covie Stanwick led the Eagles with six points on five goals and one assist.
- Freshman midfielder Kenzie Kent (four) and junior midfielder Sarah Mannelly (three) also recorded multi-goal games for Boston College.
- Senior defender Rachel Igoe scored her first career goal in the first half.
- Senior defender Lauren Bronson made her first career start while senior midfielder Erin Kickham saw her first collegiate lacrosse game action against the Terriers.
- The Eagles honored their six graduating seniors during their last Boston College regular season home game: Lauren Bronson, Rachel Igoe, Erin Kickham, Mikaela Rix, Stephanie Sabatini, and Covie Stanwick.
TURNING POINT
- When BC was leading 11-6 in the second half, the Eagles went on six-goal scoring tear from the 15-minute mark until the 23-minute mark to pull away from BU.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stanwick and Mannelly each recorded hat tricks in the first half to kick off the scoring for the Maroon & Gold.
- The Terriers stuck with the Eagles, scoring three goals of their own to keep the lead within reach and enter halftime down, 7-3.
- BU's Mickenzie Larivee countered each Boston College goal at the start of the second half, but BC's offensive power was too much for the Terriers.
- Kent exploded for a four goal second frame to spark a six-goal run for the Eagles and create a comfortable 11-goal lead.
- With sophomore Lindsey Reder replacing Zoe Ochoa in goal, the Terriers tacked on three goals to finish out the game, but could not overcome Boston College.
