Boston College went on a 9-2 run early in the second half to build a 58-42 lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was tight most of the way and the score was tied, 26-26, with 4:46 left in the half.
- From there, Boston College finished the half on a 12-4 run to take a 38-30 lead into the locker room. Hanlan had four of the points down the stretch.
- BC was up, 49-40, and then went on a 9-2 run to build a 58-42 lead with under 10 minutes remaining. Heckmann had the first five points of the run.
- The Eagle lead was double digits for the remainder of the game.
