Sailing Team Placed First at Team Race Invite

Team Race Invite
The Boston College sailing team won the Team Race Invite hosted by the Eagles in a two conference regatta on Saturday. BC went 9-1 to finish first, while Tufts was second at 8-2. Roger Williams placed third (6-4), Fordham was fourth (4-6) and Hobart-Smith (3-7) finished fifth. The skippers for the winning Eagles were Domenic Bove, Harry Koeppel and Henry Dumke while the crew members were Kaitlin Driscoll, Emily Schalka and Brooke Hensley.
Jan T. Friis Team Race
The Eagles placed third at the Jan T. Friis Team Race hosted by Roger Williams in an intercollegiate regatta on Saturday and Sunday. Yale won the event with an 11-3 record, while Harvard was 9-5 to place second. BC finished the 10 team, two-day regatta with a 9-5 record. The skippers leading BC this weekend were William Bailey, Raul Rios and Charles Sinks while the crews were Katherine Wysocki, Alex Palfrey, Elizabeth Barnard and Christopher Dwyer.
Duplin
The Boston College sailing team placed ninth in a 10-team Interconference Regatta hosted by Tufts this past weekend. Stanford won the event with an 18-0 record while Yale was second at 14-4. BC went 6-12 in the two-day regatta. The skippers for BC were Katja Sertl, Fiona Walsh and Allyson Donahue. The crew members for the Eagles were Kyla MacLennan, Lindsay D'Allessandro, Lily McGrath, Madeleine Loosbrook and Katherine Downey.
