Eagles Compete in 3 Regattas

The Eagles competed in 3 regattas over the March 21-22 weekend.
At the Southern New England Team Race interconference regatta hosted by Connecticut College, teams sailed FJ boats and were scored in teams. Overall Boston College came in 6th place. Competing for the Eagles were Harry Koeppel '17, Ryan Schmitz '15 and Maxwell Simmons '17 at skipper and Lily McGrath '18, Kaitlin Driscoll '16, and Fiona Walsh '17 at crew.
At St. Mary's Women's interconference regatta hosted by St. Marys, teams raced in 420's and were scored in 2 divisions. Boston College came in 12th place overall out of 18 teams, with a total score of 287. In the A division, Allyson Donahue '17 and Katherine Downey '16 came in 6th place. In the B division, Hannah Lynn '17, Katja Sertl '16, and Emily Schalka '15 came in 13th place.
At the Graham Hall Team Race interconference regatta hosted by Navy, teams sailed in FJ's and 420's and scored as teams. By the end of the weekend, Boston College finished in 2nd place. Competing for the Eagles were William Bailey '15, Erika Reineke '16 and Charles Sinks at skipper, and Katherine Wysocki '15, Elizabeth Barnard '15, Allison Ferraris '17, and Christopher Dwyer '15 at crew.
Next weekend Boston College will compete in the Central Series at BU, the Duplin Women's Team Race at Tufts and the Friis Team Race also at Tufts.
